The problem is that the authors takes everything in the movies as literal. They do not realise the filmmakers are forced, by the nature of their craft, to depict most extreme situations, e.g. corrupt authority, conspicuosly erratic behaviour. They do not distinguish what is ironic and what is not. They seem to believe that one can learn the craft of healing a mental disorder by watching movies. (Otherwise, they would not have published it.)
They do not know that the art is always created by those who stand on the line between sanity and insaity and that the artists remove their demons by creating art. More importantly, they do not know that those who are forced to look into both perspective can only create something great.
