I watched it again for the first time in ten years, possibly nine years. The story is most simple. Only the actors who have speaking part appear. Every scene is in three locations. Usual US trash crime novel. Dialogues with sexual innuendo. Lesbians. A gorgeous and dangerous woman whom "everybody" wants. Betrayal. Few objects which are essential to suspense. Gina Gershon was gorgeous in this movie. Was it one of John P. Ryan's last roles? It was amusing to realise acting done by Joe Pantoliano was similar to that which he did in the Sopranos. It was also amusing to watch Christopher Meloni play an annoying fuckface. A great movie.
